Dr. Parag Deshmukh is a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist and Interventional Endoscopist based in Nanded, with special interests in gastrointestinal diseases, liver disorders and pancreato-biliary diseases. He has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex digestive conditions including reflux disease, colitis, functional bowel disorders, obstructive jaundice, hepatitis, cirrhosis, pancreatitis and GI malignancies.

He has completed his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) and pursued advanced training in Gastroenterology at Peerless Hospital & B.C. Roy Research Center, Kolkata. Dr. Deshmukh has also completed IDCCM (Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine) from Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune. Dr. Deshmukh has worked as Consultant Gastroenterologist & Interventional Endoscopist at several renowned hospitals including Midas Multispecialty Hospital, Care Hospital, Meditrina Institute of Medical Sciences and Arneja Hospital in Nagpur.

I recently visited Sapphire Gastroenterology Liver and Endoscopy Center and consulted with Dr. Parag Deshmukh for my chronic constipation issue. I must say, my overall experience was excellent. Dr. Deshmukh patiently listened to all my concerns for around 20–25 minutes without rushing. He took a detailed history and made sure he understood my problem completely. After that, he clearly explained the treatment plan, including what I should eat and what I should avoid, which was very helpful. What I appreciated the most was his calm and friendly nature.
